starter heist [action]
It was nighttime, finally. From his hiding spot behind Professor Juniper's laboratory, Miror B. watched as a man in a lab coat locked the back door and walked away.
Miror B. had gleaned a lot of information from the bag of things the old man at the Entralink had given out, and also from the oh-so-nifty Xtransceiver. One bit of information he had learned was that this lab was a starting point for Unova Pokemon trainers. That meant, quite obviously, that this was where the starter Pokemon were stashed. Miror B. wanted one.
He looked at Emmet. "Now, darling, we must collect a new Pokemon for Team Miror B. They have hidden it away in this lab, which is oh-so-inconvenient of them. We must be very sneaky to pull this off, but I know you can be sneaky, Emmet dear." He grinned, and his glasses glinted sharply. Miror B. was very pleased with Emmet, his first 'recruit' for the new and improved Team Miror B.
Taking a quick glance around, Miror B. stepped towards the back door and pulled a bobby pin from his pocket. He twirled it in his fingers, spinning it about until he reached the door and skillfully inserted it into the lock. Giving the pin a few masterful twists -- clearly he was experienced with picking locks -- he stepped back triumphantly. "Voila! We are in." He opened the door cautiously, in case it was going to squeak, and peered into the dark hallway inside. "In we go, darling," he whispered, and quietly slid inside.
((OOC - Hope this is what you had in mind, Kururu :D Let the heist begin!))

s-sorry for my lateness, stuff came up irl as well))
Team Miror B.... well, they didn't seem as bad as Plasma or Galactic or any of those other evil teams who'd been around the world lately. (You see, Emmet hadn't heard of anything happening in Orre. He doesn't keep up with that region, because he has a lot to deal with and stuff in the Subway.) Anyhow, he smiled, watching Miror B. as he worked his magic, and unlocked the door - quietly slipping in behind him.
Before talking, of course. "I am Emmet, and I am ultra sneaky. Very ultra sneaky," He asserted with a nod, as he looked around the empty labs. He couldn't see anything which could catch them straight away... but, of course, they'd have to be sneaky. After all - there could be cameras, or guard Lillipup, or anything. Carefully, he put a hand to his belt - to his Joltik buddy. Who he called Jolt.

He took a few steps down the hall and gestured at Emmet. "Oh, and, darling, if you see a kind of robotic-glove-looking thing while we're in here, do let me know." He grinned. Wouldn't that be convenient, if there was a snag machine here?
Miror B. stood against a wall and peered around the corner. No camera down the next hall, at least. The room at the end of this hall was very subtly lit. Maybe a heat lamp or a healing machine? That was somewhat promising. He started down the hall, looking over his shoulder to see if Emmet was following.

Miror B. curled his fingers around the corner at the end of the hall and somehow managed to inconspicuously glance into the next room. It was amazing, really, considering his gigantic afro and general appearance, that he could be sneaky at all. It wasn't his usual mode, but he wanted to hold on to the anonymity he had gained in being brought to Unova for as long as possible. It was inevitable that he would give in to showboating, but that could wait until he actually had some Pokemon to back him up.
The dim light he had noted before was indeed a healing machine. This was the main room of the lab -- Miror B. could see the entrance on the far side of the room. He checked the tops of the walls suspiciously, but there weren't any cameras. This wasn't a Cipher lab, after all. People were far more trusting here. He quickly scanned the rest of the room: large computers with little blinking lights stood against the back wall, there was the healing machine off in the corner, several potted plants, and then finally, on a little island in the middle of the room, a small table with a container on top. Miror B. grinned.
"That'll be it, then. I wonder if it's just the three starters? They usually have several of each stored away somewhere..." His whispering trailed off as he began quietly moving into the room, looking side to side slowly as he moved to see if any dangers presented themselves. This placed seemed fairly low on security, though, and Miror B. felt confident as he tip-toed forward.

Or, of course, checking on the Pokemon. "We only need one." Emmet then asserted, trying to look quite serious. Of course, Ingo was the serious-faced one, and Emmet was the cheerful one. And he knew this. Without glancing around, Emmet then approached the container. It held the starters, of course - all three of them. With a nod to himself, he then reached a hand out for it.
It was still closed, of course. And Emmet looked to Miror B., with a questioning look. Could he open it?

He grinned deviously and sidled up next to Emmet by the container. He waved his hand magnanimously at Emmet's questioning look. "Go ahead and open it. But be ready to grab a Pokeball and run; we've been oh-so-lucky so far but this may be the thing that gives us away."
no subject
...My Unova would not have made this so easy. We must be prepared for an attack. Are you?" he asked, starting to open the container. Of course, there were three Pokeballs in there, snug and secure. Well, not really secure. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been so easily snatched - like what Emmet is doing right now. With a quick grasp of one of the Pokeballs, Emmet chose one at random. But as he grabbed it, and as Miror B. hopefully grabbed one, he heard sirens.
Alarms.
Security.

Miror B. looked around, surprised. Emmet had grabbed a Pokeball, but already the container was closing. He'd missed his chance to grab one as well. A Pokemon started barking madly outside the entrace of the lab and the flashing light of a police siren filled the room. Miror B. scowled. "Damn! Well, I must say, they are quite punctual in Unova." He turned and ran towards the hallway they had come from. "Come on, run! ESCAPE!"
no subject
Towards a window, of course - starting to slide it open, to make a better escape. Hopefully, Miror B. was following... and he could help, in case of incident.
no subject
He turned and gestured at Emmet. "Toss me that Pokeball, too, would you? And do hurry." He looked past Emmet into the building. A light turned on, and the barking of a Lillipup grew louder. Miror B. bit his lip anxiously and held a hand out to Emmet. "Let's go, darling."
no subject
Oh well! He had to continue on this path! Right? He continued to flee, before speaking to Miror B. in his hush voice. "Do you think our path will end soon? Do you think our destination is freedom?"
no subject
When Emmet starting talking he slowed down. They were fairly deep into the trees now. He looked curiously at his companion. "Whatever do you mean? You're speaking in tongues, darling." He laughed. He was feeling elated after the successful mission, even if they had only made it out with one Pokemon. "Will our path end? Is our destination freedom? Fuhohoho! Darling, our destination is SUCCESS! Oh, everything is going splendidly, my dear Emmet. You and I, we are such a perfect team." He spun in a circle, his arms raised jubilantly. "This is just the beginning! Oh yes, soon Team Miror B. will grow into something magnificent."
He paused, lowering his arms, his smile faltering. He looked rather seriously at Emmet. He still wasn't sure about this man or what his intentions were. He didn't seem to have the easily manipulated greed of Trudly and Folly, his old minions, or Team Snagem, or the oafish Cipher peons. Miror B. saw that he may have to tread carefully around this one.
"With your help, of course, darling. You've been oh-so-helpful so far, you know." He smiled.
no subject
That must be it. Except... Emmet didn't realise it, of course. He grinned, his pointy teeth slotting together, and he then looked to Miror B., a curious look on his face.
"Which one did we get?" he asked, his smile unwavering. An unreadable expression - deep in his heart, Emmet wondered if he'd stopped a starting trainer from getting a starter.

The Pokeball opened, lighting up the little forest clearing with a red light which turned into...
Snivy! The grass-type stood there, looking from Miror B. to Emmet, a bit confused. She had been expecting to emerge in the bright, well-lit laboratory. Her tail swept through the grass once and she smiled. Oh well! Sni!
no subject
"Hello! I am Emmet. I am not your trainer. He is!" he said, with a smile on his face, and pointing to Miror B.. He tried to hide his fang-like teeth, because he didn't want to scare the Snivy - instead, he looked straight at her. "But I am with him. So we are friends! You should be our friend too! Friends are good. Friends are magic," he stated, before giving a strong nod. "Yup, and friends help you get stronger and stronger!"
He then paused, to let Miror B.... well, do whatever he wanted. He was just gonna follow him, go with the flow for now. Yup.
no subject
Snivy tilted her head as Emmet spoke to her. She tapped her hands together thoughtfully, trying to figure out why Emmet was so odd-seeming. He almost seemed... vaguely like a Pokemon, which was silly to her. But she smiled at his words and nodded in agreement.
Miror B., for his part, watched Emmet with an amused, imperious air. Emmet was so... strange, so enthusiastic! Miror B. was used to far more begrudging companions. And how quaint! Friends are magic, indeed. Miror B. grinned deviously, very much amused. He almost felt guilty for leading Emmet on. Almost. "Fuhoho! Oh yes -- yes, friends forever, darling."
He crouched also and pointed daintily at the Snivy. "And you, my lovely friend, will be oh-so-useful. Yes, but I believe some training is in order. I've been saddled with the saddest of Lotads, not an elegant step to be seen. We'll shape up you and him into a wonderful dancing pair, hm?" He glanced towards Emmet. "And your little bug, too, of course, darling."
no subject
Training? Hm... "Yup! We need lots of training, if we are going to get back home, to the real Unova!" he nodded, as his Joltik popped out of hiding in his collar. Where it had totally gone. Totally. "I wonder if I should nickname Joltik. In case I need to speak in secret!" Of course, he could just switch to the tougue of Pokemon, speaking in his secondary language he'd learned over all those years, but that would break another secret, one he'd promised to hide forever. Or to his grave. Whichever came first.
But he got back to his feet, shaking his head a little. Just out of habit, of course. "This should be near Route 1. Maybe I will get a second partner there - so I can Double Battle again. Maybe a Patrat, or Lillipup. Until I can get stronger Pokemon, one of them will do!"
A simple plan, right? Especially since the police, most likely, had given up by now. (Spoilers - they did. They may be swift in arriving, but they're also swift in fleeing.) What Emmet didn't know, was just the many different species out there, in this Unova he calls... not his Unova.
no subject
He shrank the Pokeball and slipped it into his pocket. "Oh, yes, I do approve of you catching more. The more the better! We can get oh-so-much done with more Pokemon. And I do enjoy a good Double Battle. We can have a little skirmish when you catch one!" Miror B. looked in the direction they had run from, towards the lab. Completely invisible through all the trees, and no sign of a siren or flashing light. Miror B. shrugged, grinning. He'd been in jail before. For about a day. (One of the many reasons he was good at picking locks.)
"Now what is it they say, darling? Hmm." He started dancing in place. It was a habit. "Oh -- Let's begin our Pokemon Journey!"
