004 ♖ [audio to Dragonite and Thomas/action for Nimbasa City]
[N is having a bad day. Well, he's been having a bad week, really.
When his Xtransceiver crackles to life, there is none of the usual video recordings he makes-- just audio... And said audio is, at first, just a cacophony of Pokemon voices: growling, chattering, chiming, and-- loudest-- barking. They seem to be a empathic to their trainer's discontent, which is apparent when he begins speaking.]
Dragonite? Thomas? Are you there? [Months in Unova or not, he's still not entirely sure how to use all the Xtransceiver's functions. He sounds tentative, and his voice is a bit gruff.]
... I need to talk to you both. As soon as possible. If either of you are in Nimbasa City already, find me. [He debates adding more to explain himself, but decides against it by cutting the feed. For all he knows, Miror B. has some way of hacking into his Xtransceiver. This is all frustrating; he doesn't like not having a plan, nor does he like turning to the pair for help. But he doesn't have much choice.
He waits outside Nimbasa's Musical Theater, watching trainers walk in and out of the doors, and occasionally glancing at the amusement park's ferris wheel, just barely visible from his people-watching spot. His Pokemon continue to squabble. Apparently, his Snivy, Nidorino, and Absol are debating over which of them is the strongest, while Darumaka and Zoroark try in vain to calm them. Meanwhile, Growlithe is just shouting about the magnificent bed he's made out of N's clothing. N rubs at his temples.]
I... have to think.

[And then - Dragonite turns off her end of talking.
It's about half an hour later, when Dragonite has arrived in Nimbasa. Of course, she's still clueless to how to get to N. So she just. Like. Sits down where she teleported. Which is outside the Pokemon Center. She has got her audio stream back on, because her Meowth turned it on. However, she's unaware it's recording. So there is some conversation happening between Dragonite and Swablu, rather quietly.]
[audio > action]
He's returned most of his Pokemon to their Pokeballs just to be safe, though Growlithe and Darumaka remain at his side. Growlithe, of course, dashes forward once Dragonite is within his sights. WHAT AN UNSUSPECTING HUMAN? SITTING ON THE GROUND?? OH BOY OH BOY--
Yeah, there might be a Growlithe basically attacking your face with doggy kisses now, Dragonite.] A-ah! Growlithe, no!
[action]
Maybe oneday, she'll allow you to give her dogkisses. But not today.]
[action]
N jogs up to Dragonite's side, reaching out to beckon Growlithe away.] Here, comrade. Give her space. [Growlithe whines again but obeys, stepping back to sit loyally at N's heels.]
I'm sorry. He... enjoys meeting new people. [Carefully, he kneels, bringing himself closer to Dragonite's eye level. He tilts his head.] Are you hurt?
[action]
[Dragonite looked over the two of them - yes, that was N.
Did it matter if she was hurt? Dragonite let out a bit of a whine.]
Who took Paprika.
[action]
... A man that calls himself Miror B. [He scratches his head, looking almost ashamed.] I don't know what he looks like. The only known variable is his voice...
[action]
[Dragonite hadn't heard that name before. She let out a snort, before grumbling a little.]
We'll find him. And make him pay - she is our... friend. [The first time she's used that word. Dragonite looks around a little, a tiny bit nervous. If she was still a Pokemon, she could soar the skies and look for him.
But she can't. She's still weak.]
