004 ♖ [audio to Dragonite and Thomas/action for Nimbasa City]
[N is having a bad day. Well, he's been having a bad week, really.
When his Xtransceiver crackles to life, there is none of the usual video recordings he makes-- just audio... And said audio is, at first, just a cacophony of Pokemon voices: growling, chattering, chiming, and-- loudest-- barking. They seem to be a empathic to their trainer's discontent, which is apparent when he begins speaking.]
Dragonite? Thomas? Are you there? [Months in Unova or not, he's still not entirely sure how to use all the Xtransceiver's functions. He sounds tentative, and his voice is a bit gruff.]
... I need to talk to you both. As soon as possible. If either of you are in Nimbasa City already, find me. [He debates adding more to explain himself, but decides against it by cutting the feed. For all he knows, Miror B. has some way of hacking into his Xtransceiver. This is all frustrating; he doesn't like not having a plan, nor does he like turning to the pair for help. But he doesn't have much choice.
He waits outside Nimbasa's Musical Theater, watching trainers walk in and out of the doors, and occasionally glancing at the amusement park's ferris wheel, just barely visible from his people-watching spot. His Pokemon continue to squabble. Apparently, his Snivy, Nidorino, and Absol are debating over which of them is the strongest, while Darumaka and Zoroark try in vain to calm them. Meanwhile, Growlithe is just shouting about the magnificent bed he's made out of N's clothing. N rubs at his temples.]
I... have to think.

I... have to think.
[action]
My name is N. And this is Zoroark. [He doesn't mention the others; they're too invested in their feud to even notice the Zorua's approach. Zoroark leans in a bit, sniffing curiously at the Zorua.
She grins.] Geez, was I seriously this tiny before?
Hush, Zoroark. Do not be rude. [He smiles warmly, and starts to give Zorua some more pats.] What are you doing here in the city, Zorua? [He notices the Murkrow feather tucked behind her ear.] Do you have a trainer?
((AW MAN Darumakas are awesome. ;u; And yeah, at least Snidely got out okay. I'd probably cry if I lost my starter in a Nuzlocke skdfjlkds))[action]
She then looked around - leaping back up. Hey, she had energy.] Nah, I'm trainerless. There's this one boy, but he's a pr--
[Luckily, she's cut short, as said 'boy' comes running on close, looking exhaused. Imagine it - having to chase down an encounter. How stupid/rude. TAKE YOUR PIC.
Anyway, he then turns to his Murkrow - who looks overtired. Grimsley hasn't let her rest for a while - and she's also working as a lookout, to protect him. What a dick. [note- he's doing this because he used to have a wondertomb who did the same, but it didn't need sleep. he's just clueless. also mad, bro.]] Murkrow - Wing Attack!! [And it shakily starts to fly towards the Zorua. N - I think you need to step in here. Yeah.]
((I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW. But Aria is a bro. A girl-bro. i'm using so many awesome pokemon. also galvantula.
and spoilers i lost my starter in two of the nuzlockes i'm comicing right now. but it ended up funny as hell something which happened.))
[action]
Startled, N looks up to see Grimsley running toward them. He narrows his eyes and tilts his head. Odd... The boy looks so familiar, but he can't determine why. Just as he begins to stand, the boy sends out the Murkrow. N's first response is that of annoyance; how unfair to chase a wild Pokemon out of its territory in order to capture it. He's about to send out Zoroark to combat the Flying-type... until he gets a better look at it.
His annoyance evaporates and becomes sympathy. Without any hesitation, he steps forward, fearlessly placing himself between Zorua and the Murkrow, his arms outstretched toward it.] Stop it, friend. You don't have to fight anymore. [The poor Pokemon is exhausted; N isn't about to force it into another battle. So he'll just act as a shield.]
((OH GOSH GALVANTULA. I've always wanted one on my team, but Joltiks are kinda hard to train in my experience. ;o; And dsklfjkldsjfkds NO HOW COULD THAT BE FUNNY FFFFF))
[action]
Grimsley is still mad, and grips one of his hands into a fist - before trying to calm himself. He had to stay calm... yes, calm. He let out a chuckle, before looking over this fellow. He looked a mess - perhaps he could bribe him to get out of his way?]
Hey - that's my catch. Get out of the way. [He said, looking to Murkrow - and then past him to the Zorua. Zorua, however, let out a chuckle - before morthing into a duplicate of N once more.] Nuh-uh. You lost, fair and square, human. And I won.
((i grinded her for ages so she was a galvantula before she got into chargestone again :3
well you see - it was in emmet and ingos random nuzlockes, and they ended up training each others starters - emmet got a powerful feraligatr, and ingo got a strong typhlosion. SO YEAH...))
[action]
No. [He stands rigidly before Zorua, giving the boy a sharp glare. Zoroark steps forward as well, offering a low growl to accompany N's harsh words.] What right do you have to capture Pokemon when you cannot even properly care for the ones you already have? [He gestures toward the Murkrow.] She's exhausted-- you haven't let her rest at all, have you? Your strategy is not only unwise-- it's sickening.
((Ah I see. That's pretty cool! ;u;))
[action]
If she's my Pokemon, she should be able to fight until the end - no matter how tired she grows. That's just how they should be. [He doesn't like losing. So, he'll fight until the end.
But he does note that his Murkrow does look weaker then normal - she's so tired, she's barely moving. With a slight tsk, he withdrew the Pokemon.
Zorua let out a sigh, before Grimsley let out his Spinarak. You know, the blue one. He's not letting up - he's not going to lose to a wild Pokemon. That'd be stupid. Zorua then chuckles - before starting to back away, not nervous at all. But, she has decided, it would be fun to mess with this kid. Later. After some rest.] Don't you dare flee.
[action]
I despise trainers like you. [At his feet, Zoroark bristles, prepared for battle. N gestures to the Spinarak with a sweep of his hand.] Zoroark, Night Slash. [What do you mean this match-up isn't fair? He's trying to teach this twerp a lesson. Zoroark lunges forward, slashing at the Bug-type with her claws.]
[action]
Heheh - see ya, Grimsley-boy! [Zorua then chuckled, as she fled into the distance. Of course, Grimsley couldn't understand that - but he was mad. And he blamed N, of course.
But he had lost all his Pokemon. And he knew that meant giving over some money. Urgh.] Hah... I suppose you think you're better then me. [He muttered, as he dug though his pants pockets. This wasn't his fault. He wasn't to be despised. It was because of his weak Pokemon.] But these aren't my good team. I bet you'd lose to them. [Yeeeah... he grows up a lot in the future.]
[action]
When he turns back to Grimsley, he first has a look of shock on his face. First Iris... and now Grimsley of the Elite Four? And as a child no less... N looks Grimsley over with renewed interest. But once the boy has finished what he has to say, N just gives an amused smile.]
Oh? Is that right? [He chuckles. He doesn't have to make a prediction; he knows he defeats Grimsley again as an adult. Time paradox or not, he knows that is true.
When he continues, he speaks with less superciliousness.] You are arrogant, Grimsley. You are treating your Pokemon like tools. Considering that... Yes, I am better than you. When you have no concern for those that fight for you, you are bound to be defeated.
[action]
These Pokemon - they are just tools. To get me back to Black City, that is. [And he hands over the money, grumbling under his breath.
He was a little calmer, though - so, time to brag.] Yes - my real Pokemon. Nobody has ever beaten me, when I've been with Spiritomb. [Wondertomb, thank you very much.]
[action]
You are repulsive. Favoring one Pokemon over another, treating them as objects for your own gain-- it's disgusting.
I do not care that you have never been defeated. You do not have your Spiritomb now, and I just defeated your entire team with a single Night Slash. You are unable to realize your Pokemon's true potential, and that makes you a poor excuse for a trainer.
[action]
Yeah, well... [But you managed to shut him up, if only for a little. He couldn't think of a responce. He had just lost, after all - his parents had tried to teach him that if you were beat, your opponent was to be respected.
Even if he didn't want to respect this man. He let out a short growl, before putting his Spinarak back in it's Pokeball - and handing over some money. After all, that's the rules.] I'll be stronger then you. [He hopes... no, he knows. He'll have luck on his side, and find stronger Pokemon.]
[action]
Keep it. I don't want your money. What I should be taking is your Pokemon. With your attitude, you have no right to them. [Yeah, he's apparently going to keep trying to bring Grimsley down as many pegs as he can.]
[action]
Damn this man.
He'll get more Pokemon, and he'll wreck him. And he'll get that Zorua, too.]
