Video [Action for Nuvema]
[The first thing Grimsley noticed was pure darkness.
Pure darkness filled with the sounds of a place which wasn't home. It sounded too... natural.
Pure darkness which couldn't be broken though by the opening of his eyes. Or a call to his Pokemon, who'd unleash a Flash attack because he didn't feel like flicking on the lights.
No, something was wrong. Grimsley could feel it, all around him.
And he hated it. He could hear people around - but whatever he said, they seemed to ignore him. As if they couldn't understand him - the nerve of those people! Being so... so rude! After a few hours, Grimsley had stopped trying to speak with them. It wasn't helping, and it was just making his throat sore.
Oh, sure, he'd subconsiously noticed the other changes. The four legs, the stubby tail, the smallness - but he was far more panicked about the loss of a sense.
So when he tumbled over a round ball and then heard a voice, he was thankful. It was his Murkrow - and that brings us to now. He's got his Xtransiever set up for him, recording video. His voice is soft and panicked as he speaks - with slight soreness.]
...h-hello. Can anybody tell me what's going on? [Nope, he's not introducing himself. He just assumes you know his voice. Which is different then his older self voice.] I seem to have been kidnapped and blinded, as to be unable to flee. How rude, and how violent! Whoever did this, reveal yourselves!
[...After a slight growl escapes his throat, Grimsley then clawed the ground a little.] If you do not return me to normal and home by the end of today, I'm sure you'll be in for a world of pain. [An empty threat, of course, but he's still looking rather angry.]
Ahem. That is all.
[...]
Turn off the camera. I can hear whirring.
[And then the feed ends with a bit of Murkrow showing.]

"You're a Pokemon, that's what," Stocking snarked from the other end of the line. "You an otherworlder too? I think this network's usually for us anyway." Stocking sighed, twirling around, not that the other person could see it.
"Think you've got a bit of hair in the way of your line of vision, bub. Doesn't look like your four legs'll be able to push it off though," Stocking commented offhandedly.
How cute. He thinks he's been kidnapped for his money.
Wait. His mind is working. Hair in his face... loss of sight... four legs? He then gets more of a growl to his voice. "Tell me... is my body blue, by any chance? And is that 'hair' black?"
Grimsley posed his next question, leaving Stocking a bit confused, but she shrugged and answered anyway. "Yeah, and you've got some red things around your hide or whatever, why?"
But at the second part, he slammed a foot into the ground, in frustration. "A Deino. They turned me into a Deino. A blind creature known as pure evil. Which takes a long time to evolve. And even when I did evolve, my mind would split in two, fighting my body. And if I managed to survive that, then I'd be a beast who is known to lack self-restraint.
And even if I could do that - which I could, mind you - how would I be able to avoid a human capturing me, thinking I was simply a Pokemon! The nerve of it all!"
Not like he had restraint anyway - when you're like him, you don't need it. But with a sharp breath, Grimsley then continued, complaining to this stranger over this device. "This is no way for somebody like me to be! I'm not evil - I'm just rich!
...Who are you." Perhaps there was a reason for this talking/meeting. Perhaps she was also an important person, captured for this experiment. If it was an experiment.
"Name's Stocking, got here from my world after I went to bed one night. I wasn't like a Pokemon in this world until a few days ago though," Stocking replied curtly. "And you? What's your name?"
...Oddly enough, he seems a bit calmer now. He's still mad, mind you. But he has a bit of class.
"I'm Grimsley - and I come from this world," He still has no idea he's from the past, mind you, "though this is not normal for this world. People are people, Pokemon are Pokemon, it's a clear divide. It's nice to meet you, Stocking."
One of the reasons Grimsley was being less bratty then normal? His fear was doing it.
"...Tell me, can you tell what city I'm in from my backdrop? I'd like to know how far it is to Black City..."
"Nice to meet ya too, Grims. And yeah, a lot of us were our normal human selves until a while ago it seems," Stocking shrugged, reclining against a bench.
"As for what your surroundings look like, uh... kind of... suburban really. I think there's this big building behind you, not sure what it is though," Stocking replied, peering through the Xtransceiver screen to get a closer look at Grimsley's surroundings. "Maybe you can tell your feathery friend to help me get a better look?"
"Hey. Pokemon." Grimsley then said, sniffing around a bit. Clearly, it was a bird. It squarked a bit, as Grimsley gave it instructions. Where he was.
After a bit of description, he let out a growl. "Great. I'm stuck in Nuvema. The people here would've never seen a Deino, or somebody as powerful as I. This is stupid."
"Nuvema huh? That's one of those places you can warp to after the Entralink, but I thought it was too drab. Nimbasa was more my style in any case," Stocking commented, currently situated in Nimbasa anyway. She didn't really know where Toph went off to either.
"Guess you'll have to sniff your way out, huh? I'm too far away so I'm not sure how much help I'll be," Stocking chuckled, not really feeling sorry for Grimsley at all.
I suppose I shall teleport there soon."
A pause.
"Tell me... what species of Pokemon are you?"
"Oh? You're coming over? That'll be cool, I guess," Stocking shrugged, she'll be able to relieve a bit of her boredom she supposed.
"Uh... The Pokedex-whatchamacallit says a Kirlia. I think a Gothithelle suited my style more but one of my partners already is one... well, the basic form at least. Man, I'm glad I have this thing. There's no way I'd be able to memorize all these names," Stocking sighed, pulling out the Pokedex the otherworlders were granted.
"So see you sometime~? Maybe we'll be human again before all this is over~" Stocking chuckled, shamelessly flirting for no other means than her amusement.
And then he was teleported. And back to being lost - the whole screen went blank for a while, flicking on as he was in the Entralink for a second as his Murkrow helped - and then he was in front of the Nimbasa Pokemon Center.
And cowering a little. So many sounds, so many dangers.
[ACTION???]
"Heeeeeey! Over here!" Stocking called out to Grimsley, waving but not with any effect.
You're not blind or kidnapped. [Eridan rolls his eyes as he says this, not believing that the kid didn't know that he was a Pokemon.]
You're just a Pokemon.
How about you try being a water Pokemon stuck in the middle of the desert, huh? Do you know how hard it is to get around desert with no feet? I've been falling all over the place because all there is is sand. Everywhere. [This is a perfectly legitimate reason to hate land even more.] Why couldn't this have happened when we were exploring the Ruins of Water and Caverns or something like that? Now that's just unfair.
Re: [Video]
Do you know how hard it is to find water in a desert? [No really. He's tried, but all there is is sand.] There's nothing but sand out here! But then again, you're probably one of those uneducated humans.
[...He's giving you a 'what an idiot' look - and tone of voice. Gosh, otherworlders (which Grimsley doesn't believe in yet anyhow), lern2Unova.] And I wouldn't get my hands dirty in any ruins. It's far below me - I don't care if you're better at it.
Far below you? Are you stupid? Do you have any idea what kind of treasures lay at the bottom of ruins like that? Treasures. Deadly treasures, even weapons like Ahab's Crosshairs. But seeing how you're a human, I bet you've never even heard about it.
[There's silence for quite a while, as Grimsley mulls over the information he has.]
You speak as if you're normally not human. ['Are you one of those freaks who think they're a Pokemon trapped in a human body...' he'd ask that, but he doesn't want to know the answer.]
Of course I'm not a human! And I'm glad I'm not one of you too. So glubbin confusin...
