EVENT POST - Nightmares and Sunflowers

On the night of the 14th, nothing seems amiss to you- nothing on the wind, nothing in the seas... It's a simple, albeit likely blistering evening in the middle of Unova's summer...

At least until midnight.

Suddenly a massive wave of energy seems to pass over you- your dreams of perfectly innocent intent begin to twist and darken to something else, and at the worst moment find yourself awake and in a cold sweat. Surely it was just a dream though right?

Apparently, you're wrong.

Following the mass immigration of pokemon and interdimensional travellers alike, Unova was quite shaken, as others were probably quick to notice. Pokemon were possibly a little more agitated than usual, reacting a little... Harshly.

 

Things seemed to settle however, right?

 

Perhaps not. Not all of Unova was as 'unprepared' for what came to be, and in fact, a choice group of the inhabitants seem to be taking full advantage of the instability; until the 25th, the fruits of their labor can be seen.

 

Remember when Team Plasma was hunting for Munna? They have them now. And those munna are very hurt, and potentially angry munna. These munna won't be taking in the good dreams of the people in the land- oh no, not at all!

 

From today until the 25th, while cheery, sunny pokemon run around, Munna will be using their power to materialize whatever happens to be in the darkest recesses of the dreams they look into- perhaps there's an inner guilt about some incident in your past. Perhaps you're simply afraid of some/thing/ rather than someone, and now the entire forest is on 'fire' despite nothing actually burning and water having no effect.

 

See that's the thing- these materializations are only as strong as the munna projecting them. So they're not as strong as you think!

 

But can you stand up to your fears to call them out on that?

 

It's time for you to find out.

note: remember! This month the swarm happens at the same time as the event; so from now until the 25th, you'll be able to find eevee, deerling, happiny, and cleffa at varying levels, as well as sunkern/sunflora and cherrim/cherubi.
