And thinking about that just made him cranky. He'd have to see if it was possible to recover his strength when they were done here.
Hazel would have been surprised to see she'd been thinking of attempting the same thing as Sephiroth. But she had no idea what he was thinking so that is kind of moot.
She just takes a few steps back since she's not exactly the most durable person around. Quite the opposite really. Her Espeon places himself firmly between her and the likely still dangerous Pokémon of the forest.
