Someone is cranky. Covered in sand and cranky.
The sand isn't why Sephiroth is cranky. He expected that before he even went to the desert.
No, the reason he's cranky is because he found a Trapinch... by stepping on what he thought was just a mound of sand. The result of that can be seen if you look at his feet. A pant leg is completely shredded from the knee down and his boot has tooth marks. There is also a bit of dried blood on his leg but, no wound.
He's just gonna ignore his ruined pants for now and try to locate the Pokémon center of this city. Hmm, maybe he'll need to ask for directions...
