Thomas followed Estelle, not speaking much, simply amused by her enthusiasm and energy. He had even retrieved his walking stick from where he'd lashed it to his backpack. This little stroll felt like just the thing that needed an elegant walking stick. He listened quietly to the townspeople's words, somewhat bemused by the tendency towards short, vaguely insightful phrases. Still, even if it was a bit chilly, walking around was nice and Thomas was enjoying himself.
"They do have good things to say, don't they?" he responded absently, looking at the buildings they had yet to visit. "I hope you are finding them helpful. Although, ha ha, I'm afraid it's all mostly irrelevant advice."
