Thomas quickly stood when Estelle did, out of politeness. Once again, he annoyed poor Ratter by standing when she was laying next to his feet. He straightened and re-addressed Estelle. "Ah, to tell the truth, I haven't been adventurous enough to speak with the locals very much. I mean, other than vendors and such."
