Thomas smiled over his shoulder at Estelle as he hurried back to the park. When he reached the fountain his Teddiursa is nowhere to be seen. "Damn it all, Dodger, where... Oh." He spotted him a small distance from the fountain, trying to climb a tree. "Dodger!" Thomas marched over to him, pulling out a Pokeball. "Return!" The Pokeball opens and calls back the Teddiursa, cutting off an annoyed Ursa! "Oh, hush," Thomas said to the closed Pokeball. He pocketed it, then walked as quickly as propiety allowed back to the Pokemon Center.

When he reached the Pokemon Center he was embarassingly reminded of the automatic doors. How were you supposed to courteously open a door for someone if they opened themselves? He mused on this annoying fact before stepping elegantly into the building. He looked around for Estelle and, seeing her by the little gift shop, walked over, making sure not to sneak up this time. "Finding anything interesting?"
