[action] Welcome to the Nexus
[ This is Madotsuki's dream, but curiously enough, Madotsuki herself is nowhere to be found. Instead, whoever happens to stray into this dream finds themself in massive black room, with intricate patterns carved on the floor in silver. Apart from the circle of doors in the center of the room, there is absolutely nothing here. The room is dark and cold and silent and lonely. Going too far in any direction just results in returning to the center of the room. So, there's only one thing to do to progress; pick a door.
Which door? ]
[[ooc: HOW COULD I NOT DO THIS YOU GUYS... here is a handy-dandy map of the Nexus for you all. <3 ]]

THIS IS PERFECT- also i am canon blind so this will be wonderful.
Grimsley has no idea how he got here, but he's here now. Looking at the doors, he let out a chuckle.]
It's time to test my luck, huh?
[Closing his eyes, he then pointed to a door. The door he pointed at was the door to the Forest World, but it's not like he knows that.]
That's the door.
[And then... he heads though it. Dun dun dun.]

That being said he wasn't fond of the idea of opening any of the doors either. They all looked just as foreboding as the room they were in. But with the way time flows in dreams there was no telling how long he'd feel it was if he decided to just sit and wait to wake up, (Or what else could be waiting in the void for that matter) and...he had to admit, he was a little curious. So, he picked the least intimidating door to try out--the red. It looked plastic, almost cute.
Puddle World, here he comes...]
soooo sorry for lateness, real life ate me up sob

He holds it out, pointing away from himself, and slowly opens the umbrella.]

Almost reflexively, he gets the umbrella above him as quickly as he can. It takes a few moments for him to notice he suddenly isn't soaked and shivering anymore, and when he does he's hesitant to make any move whatsoever. Was it really safe...?]

Which. Doesn't seem to be anywhere. Even so, standing still is clearly not an option. Running in a random direction it is!]

Which is why Madotsuki full-on collides with Bill, while trying to work out exactly why the Puddle World was flooding. She topples back and lands with a splash, ending up submerged to her chest in water. She yelps and struggles to stand but instead, slips and ends up falling back into the water. ]

Put the umbrella away!

It's still pouring, why would I put it away?

You aren't one of my dreams.
[ It's a statement, not a question. [

No, I'm not. I'm sorry for intruding on your space like this, but I didn't seem to have much control over where I was going.
no subject
How are you here? This is a dream.

can i just... casually tag here now even though it's horribly late skdfjlsd
Looking at the doors, he isn't sure which one to pick, or if he should choose one at all. He almost expects to feel an aura to guide him, but finds none. So he decides, despite his reluctance, to go with his intuition. He walks forward, almost wandering, and stops at the first door that doesn't seem too dangerous. It's gray, with geometric symbols on it. Seems fitting enough. He reaches out a hand, touching the door briefly to make sure it won't harm him before he opens it, stepping into Block World.]
WELL GUESS WHO'S EVEN LATER, common cold why you do this
gahhh sorry I got an awful cold. my immune system has awful timing
[ She considers his words carefully, with her nose wrinkled up. She looks doubtful for a moment then simply shrugs. If he is a figment of her imagination, then humoring him won't do any harm. ]
You talk like a doctor.
Aww, it's okay hun :c You're feeling better now?
Sorry, sorry, where are my manners--barging in here and not even introducing myself. My name is Bill.
yeah, I just never get sick so when I do I'm like I'M DYING GO ON WITHOUT ME
I'm Madotsuki.
Bluuuh I understand. Glad you're well again!
OH MAN HAHA you feeling better now though?? ;u;
Cautiously, he steps out onto the void, and soon grows accustomed to walking on what seems to be thin air. No way to go but forward, right?]
better-ish, I was fine for a bit then got really bad again but hopefully I am okay now ;v;
After what might be hours or seconds -- it's impossible to tell -- something appears on the horizon. It appears to be a scarf and hat, floating unsupported in mid-air. ]
Gosh that sounds rough-- I hope you stay okay this time! ;u;
Once he reaches them, he's a bit unsure as to what he should do with them, so he experimentally reaches out toward the hat with one hand.]
same here sob *JUST DIES*
There are heavy bags under her eyes and her eyes are dark. She stares balefully at him, as if demanding to know what he's doing there. ]
I BELIEVE IN YOU
... Hello. [She's giving him a rather unnerving look...] I apologize if I intruded-- I'm afraid I'm not quite sure where I am. Could you tell me?
